Hotels

Tips for the people who carry the bags.

Guests arrive with cards, not cash. With ENVO they scan the bellhop's code, see who helped, and tip from their phone.

A hotel bellhop wheels a luggage cart across a resort lobby toward the entrance.

How hotel tipping works with ENVO

Bellhops and hotel valets each have their own ENVO code on a badge or at the bell stand. The guest scans it, sees the worker's photo and name, and tips with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, with no app or account. The worker receives 100% of the tip; the guest pays a small service fee, shown in dollars before paying. Tips belong to the worker: the hotel doesn't see who tipped or how much.

Where the code lives

Right where the thanks happens.

On the lanyard

A credit-card-size badge with the bellhop's name and code, handy at the room door.

At the bell stand

A stand at the bell desk with one line: Tip Maria in seconds.

On the bellhop's phone

Show to customer puts the code full screen on white, for the moment the bags reach the room.

The tip page

Maria's page, in four taps.

  • Maria receives 100% of your tip.
  • The service fee is shown in dollars before you pay.
  • Maria won't see who rated.
