Valet

Tips for the people who bring the car around.

When the keys come back, guests often have no cash. With ENVO they scan, see who brought their car, and tip with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card.

A valet opens the rear door of a car for a guest under a resort entrance canopy at dusk.

How valet tipping works with ENVO

Each valet has their own ENVO code on a badge or at the podium. The guest scans it with their phone's camera, sees the valet's photo and name, picks an amount and pays with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. There's no app and no account. The valet receives 100% of the tip; the guest pays a small service fee, shown in dollars before paying.

Where the code lives

Right where the thanks happens.

On the lanyard

A credit-card-size badge with the valet's name and code, so the guest tips the person who brought the car.

At the podium

A stand at the key podium with one line: Tip Alex in seconds.

On the valet's phone

Show to customer puts the code full screen on white, for guests who walk up to the car.

The tip page

Alex's page, in four taps.

  • Alex receives 100% of your tip.
  • The service fee is shown in dollars before you pay.
  • Alex won't see who rated.

Questions

and answers

Do guests need an app to tip their valet?

No. They scan the code with their phone's camera and the tip page opens in the browser. There's nothing to download and no account to make.

Does the valet get the whole tip?

Yes. The valet receives 100% of the tip the guest picks. The service fee is separate and shown in dollars before the guest pays.

Can each valet have their own code?

Yes. Every valet has their own tip page, rating and code, so each tip goes to the person who brought the car. ENVO doesn't pool tips.

What does it cost the valet company?

Nothing. ENVO is free for workers and businesses.
